Hey! So I am coming to the end of my first week here in Manchester with A.I.S, It has been a fun yet very tiring week! So through out the week I have been getting involved with the work A.I.S do, So Monday I Arrived and unpacked. . . fun and kind of exiting to start. I am living with a family in Offertion, just outside Stockport.
There are 3 people I live with now, Steve, (who is also the pastor of my new church) Carolyn his wife and Jenny there foster daughter.
I have settled in well and have enjoyed my time here so far. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I was in schools teaching P.E to a variety of age groups ranging from 5 to 12. Wednesday was the best day as we spent the whole time teaching the kids how to line up in a "strait and quiet line" which I still think they can't do despite ,y best efforts. Friday I had the whole day off but had to work in the evening, We went onto a estate full of council houses and ran a 5-a-side football tournament which was so fun to run but i did learn a whole new vocabulary of "curse words" witch wasn't so good. today I had the whole day of which was nice! I went and watch the football team I have Just signed for play, we won 8-1 which I have been assured won't happen again apparently.
